The price of an event will depend on a number of factors including length of performance, location, start and finish time, set up deadline and size of audience.

Parties start at £200 and weddings at £250. Our fees are below the national average for Mobile Discos.

If you really want to Karaoke can be arranged but our preference is to just play good quality music for everyone to dance to.

Of course – it’s your party! – a list of favourite songs, styles, banned songs or any other indication of what you and your guests will want to dance to. We are also happy to advise you on music selection using our extensive experience. If the list is sent in advance we will to our outmost to make sure we have all the tracks.

Absolutely! We are happy to take requests before the event or on the night and if the venue has as Wifi connection we can download any tracks we do not have.

We even have a dedicated email address for your guests to email their choices in advance (unless of course you want to vet them first!).

We will normally be at the venue approximately one hour before the event is due to start, and an area approx. 4m x 2m is ideal. We need access to mains power (at least one double socket).  For larger functions more time (and space) may be required.

We use legally downloaded MP3 tracks played through an Apple computer and an iPod linked via a mixing desk to our PA system. This allows us to carry a massive amount of tracks for all tastes, plus if the venue has a wireless (WiFI) connection then we are able to download any songs that are requested that we do not have. This is combined with a range of lighting effects to give a flexible mobile service.

We get a large number of requests for charity events and each year we do a number of free events (recently we have supported Staveley village playground fundraiser and a Macmillan Cancer event). As a result we are not able to run any additional free events, however if your event is directly linked to a charity we will endeavour to offer a discounted rate.

It’s what you are paying me for!! – Many people struggle to name their favourite songs to dance to but they know when they hear it! Years of experience means we can use a range of music to suit all tastes and fill the dance floor!

All equipment is tested (PAT) for electrical safety under UK law and HSE guidelines.

We carry Public liability Insurance and will perform dynamic risk assessments at all venues (in addition to generic ones). Ian Wilson has also attended a 4 day Institution of Occupational Safety and Health course.
